Hey there! I’m Sara – the sparkly, slightly quirky brain behind Sassy Lou.

I’m a proud mum of six fabulous humans—four of whom are now off adulting and creating their own little families. With the house a little quieter these days (well, mostly!), I’ve suddenly found myself with something I haven’t had in a long time: time. And instead of twiddling my thumbs, I decided to dive headfirst into something that brings me pure joy—being creative.

By day, I work in hospitality management, where I’ve spent years meeting incredible people from all walks of life. It’s a fast-paced world, but one thing that’s always added a bit of sparkle to my day—and to the people around me—is my love of bold, bright, and slightly sassy earrings. I’d pop on a fun pair before heading to work, and without fail, someone would stop me with a compliment or a curious “Where did you get those?!” It always sparked a smile and a conversation—and honestly, that little moment of connection made all the difference.

That’s when the idea for Sassy Lou started to blossom. What if I could share that same joy, colour, and confidence with others? What if a pair of earrings could brighten someone’s day, help them express who they are, or even give them a boost of sass when they need it most?
